Here for sale is a fantastic quirky item of interest. Jones Bros were makers of cookware and medical sterilising equipment in London from 1832 to 1900. This interesting antique item comprises of a beautifully made box containing a metal inner liner and a spring at the bottom, which seems designed to keep a glass container airtight against the lid. We assume this had medical use in its time.

The stunning mahogany box has lovely brass fittings and would make an interesting unique gift.

Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.

Box - 13 cm width, 13 cm depth, 21 cm height
