A fantastic antique Victorian library chair. This is a horseshoe or "cockfighting" shape, so called to allow the sitter to sit facing backwards. Very handsome office chair with brass mounted castors and mahogany frame. Fabric upholstery in good sound condition. A stunning period chair with carved front column legs which is a classic elegant design. A statement chair perfect in a reading nook or in a home office to use and enjoy.
Condition
The arm upright has a small part missing. There is a small hole in the upholstery, please do refer to photos. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
