A fantastic antique display cabinet. Made from mahogany with heavy lift up glazed doors to the top. This piece would have been used in a museum or shop for display. An English piece, dating from the late Victorian period. With brass supports internally to prop the door open. The inside is painted black which is more recent. Mounted on wooden legs which may not be original to the piece. With original long brass hinges. A wonderful unique piece, perfect to display a prized collection or to use in a shop to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
No keys and locks are missing. Does not come apart for movement (the top can be removed from the base. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
