A fantastic antique washstand. Made from pitch pine and mounted with a piece of off white marble. The marble has a lovely grey vein running through it. There are holes along the back where there was once an upstand and it's a bit jaggery to the back. The marble has a lovely timeworn patina which adds to its charm. There are two small drawers with brass pull handles. Hand turned pine legs are mounted on porcelain castors. A lovely period piece which would make a sper breakfast table or idea in a bathroom with a basin mounted on it. Adding soul anch character to any modern space.
Condition
Holes to back of marble where a upstand was originally. Chip to marble from right. Some historical staining to marble. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
