Here for sale is a fantastic antique silver plate tray. It is stamped to the bottom with the Walker & Hall flag, name and pattern number. The business was established in Sheffield in 1845 by George Walker. He later became an assistant to De John Wright who conducted important experiments on electroplating. Walker secured the royalty of electroplating for sheffield. Henry Hall jointed the business to form Walter & Hall in 1853.

This is a super heavy tray with ornate edge and handles. Perfect to style on the centre of a table with candles and greenery as a statement.

Tarnishing and lots of wear to the silver plate but really is a beautiful decorative piece. Shows lots of signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
