Antique Victorian Parnall & Sons Grocery Shop Tea Tin Canister No 8 England | retrovation
top of page

A fantastic antique tea canister. With brass makers label for Parnall & Sons. The original company was set up in 1820 in Narrow Street initially making weights but then expanding in to shop fittings and shop equipment.

This Victorian cannister has the original label with Parnall and Sons Makers 21 and 22 Narrow Wine St, Bristol. It has gilt banding and the number 8 probably overpainted through the years. Dating from the Victorian period this fabulous tin would have been used in a grocery shop for display and for daily use. Perfect to add soul and character to any modern interior.

Condition

Holes in the base. Tarnishing to surface of tin. Dents to lid and main body of tin. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.

Dimensions

23 cm base diameter, 43 cm height
