A fantastic antique Samovar or tea urn. Dating from the middles part of the 19th Century and made from copper with lovely porcelain handles and finial to lid. Marked to the inside lid for the retailer, for William S. Burton, 39 Oxford Street, 253 Newman Street and Perry’s Yard, London. The spherical body is mounted upon an attractively moulded base with four ornate splayed feet. The brass spigot or tap is in working order. We have not over cleaned this stunning piece as it has the most wonderful muted colour and warm hue to the copper. A fabulous period piece and retailed in a top store in London. Perfect for cocktails in a home bar or to use and enjoy at any special event.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
