Here for sale is a fantastic pair of antique wooden boot trees. Made by Horace Batten the bootmakers. The Batten family have roots going back to the 17th Century in boot making. After the first world war Horace moved to Northampton and set up business in his own name 'Horace Batten Bootmakers'. Horace's granddaughter is part of the team that run the business today.
A lovely pair of beech boot trees are steamed to maintain there colour and kiln dried to prevent warping. Idea to use with any long riding boots to to extent there use and longevity.
One has a piece missing. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
