A fantastic antique serving tray. Made from silver plate and fully stamped by the maker, Walker and Hall of Sheffield. Founded in 1845 by George Walker, Henry Hall joined the business in 1853. This piece dates from the late Victorian period and would have been used in a large manor house as a butlers tray. With the most exquisite engraved fern leaves. Fern leaves were at the height of Victorian fashion. It's a really heavy piece and perfect to display on a coffee table or use for drinks in the garden.
Condition
Tarnishing and scratches to undeneath. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
