A fantastic antique snooker scoreboard. Dating from the first part of the 20th Century and hand painted in gilt letter the makers name. E.A Clare & Son of 27 St Anne Street, Liverpool. The company was founded in 1912. This example has hand painted gilt numbers and carved ebonised wood sliders. It has a wonderful time worn patina and the mahogany wood has a warm tone and hue. A great gift for any collector or to use and enjoy with every game. 
Condition
One of the markers spins around a bit. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
