A fantastic antique sewing machine. Made by Winselmann Titan Saxonia. Manufactured by Gustav Winselmann in Altenburg, Germany, this particular design dates somewhere between 1902 and 1920. It features a classic serpentine "fiddle" shape bed decorated with vibrant floral and gold acanthus filigree decoration, alongside a transverse shuttle system driven by internal gears. The toleware gilt design is just stunning. It is working and comes with its original bentwood carry case. A wonderful period piece for display or to use. Adding soul and character to a space.
Condition
The decorative gilt toleware is worn in places. It seems to be working but we haven't tried sewing with fabric. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
