A fantastic set of two antique tin paint boxes. One by Rowney, and one by Winsor and Newton. The Rowney box has the Rowney makers mark on the front and the Winsor and Newton box has the brass makers mark on the interior with sketchers box. Dating from the end of the 19th or early 20th century. The Rowney box has 12 of the original paints and metal thumb loop to base. Both are much loved and have a super timeworn patina which adds to there charm. A fabulous pair of period artist travel tins. Perfect as a gift or to use and enjoy.
Condition
A much loved and used pair of tins. Paints are dried. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
