A fantastic antique tankard. Made from pewter and engraved with 'En Souvenir Oct 1914'. This tankard comes from the very beginning of the First World War and would have been made as a souvenir piece for soldiers. It is glass bottomed and has a robust handle. The pewter has a lovely timeworn patina and is full of history. This was probably used by a soldier to drink ale and then to give as a gift on their return. A fabulous piece, perfect for any collector or to use and enjoy.
Condition
Scratches to surface. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
