Here for sale is a fantastic vintage sweet tin for liquorice rolls. Made by A.S Wilkin Limited at there factory in Cremona Park, Northumberland. It was founded by Albert Scholick Wilkin, the son of a Westmorland policeman. Wilkin had opened a sweet factory in Sunderland in 1908. It was an immediate success, especially its ‘Wilkin’s Red Boy Toffee. A great vintage tin with a fabulous timeworn patina. Perfect for storage or to stage in a kitchen.
Lots of scratches to surface of tin and some tarnishing in places. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
