A fantastic vintage Anglepoise lamp. An early two step 1227 model, made by Hertbert Terry. The original three spring Anglepoise was designed by George Carwardie and created by Herbert Terry in 1935 and is named the 1227 model. This example is later. With original paintwork and fabulous timeworn patina. Fully rewired with green braided flex. The shade is made from aluminum. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a modern interior.
Condition
With new flex and light fitting. Springs are stiff. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
