A fantastic antique pair of ice skates. With makers name etched to blade for, John Wilson of Sheffield. The business was established in 1696. These are screw on blades which have been attached to a old pair of servicemen or military boots. They would have been used on winter ponds or club skating. They are old and much loved. We think they would make a fabulous addition to a shop window as 'Santa's Skates'. A great decorative piece which would fab in any festive display, add a personality and charm.
Condition
Not for use, but as a decorative vintage prop. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
Dimensions
33 cm blade width, 11 cm depth, 22 cm height
