A vintage hand painted studio pottery pair of plates. Signed by the artist and maker Mary Wondrausch OBE. Wondrausch (1923-2016) was a renowned artist and potter. Shestudied in the late 1960s and has travelled through Europe learning her trade. She specialises in the production of slipware and published a book in 1986. The pair of plates are titled 'The Quince', and with the latin name 'Cydonia oblonga'. They have the most wonderful rustic cottage design and charm. These fabulous hand made plate the most wonderful organic design. A unique one off piece, perfect as a gift or to add soul and character to any modern interior.    
Condition
Please hand wash. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
