A fantastic vintage pressed powder makeup compact. Made by Stratton with a stunning William Morris Acanthus design to the front. An iconic design, first registered in 1895. With vibrant colours and typical of the Art Nouveau period. Stratton are a renowned maker and this example has its original carry purse. This piece dates from much later. The mirror is clear and intact. A lovely piece for any collector or to use and enjoy.
Condition
Some tarnishing to metal in places. As Found. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
