Here for sale is a fantastic large tapestry dating we believe from the early to mid 20th Century of an earlier 18th Century design. In the style of Francois Boucher, who's 18th century tapestries were set at Lake Como in Italy. This tapestry is similar to Boucher's Noble Pastorale range featuring romantic country scenes. This stunning wall art shows two lovers where the male is showing the female an uncaged bird. It would make a stunning and decorative large interior wall hanging to add soul to a modern interior. The top has been attached to a wooden baton for hanging.
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
