A fantastic antique cordite or shell carrier. Made from canvas and leather and dates from the end of the 19th century. It is a British Royal Navy issue and has its leather carry handle. They were used aboard Royal Navy ships to safely transport flash proof explosive cordite charges or ammunition cartridges from magazines below deck up to the gun decks. It has a wonderful timeworn patina and really adds to its charm. We think it would make a fabulous unique umbrella or stick stand. Adding soul and character to any modern interior. 
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
