A fantastic antique display cabinet. Made from mahogany and dates from the early Victorian period around 1840. This is a quality cabinet made by a master craftsmen. With glass doors and single internal glass shelf. The interior is lined with a purple fabric. There are three useful drawers to the bottom and all have antique brass handles. One drawer lock is stamped by the maker Milner & Son of Liverpool. Thomas Milner was a renowned lock maker and set up in business in Liverpool in 1840. We can date this piece from betwen 1830 and 1849. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern kitchen or bathroom for much needed storage and display. Adding soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
