A fantastic antique milliners hat stretcher. These stretchers were orignally used in hat making and now are popular as decorative display pieces. This is beautifully shaped and the metal work is particularly heavy. Dating from around 1900 and is English. The front handle is turned to open and close the stretcher. This is a stunning example with a wonderul warm hue to the wood. Perefect for any collector or to stage in a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
