A fabulous original antique tile . Dating from the Art Nouveau period around the turn of the Century. It has spectacular pink colour and wonderful relief moulded design of a stylised flower. Stamped with the makers name H & R.J., for H.& R. Johnson. Johnson were founded in 1901 by the Norcros group and grew to become a market leader. It is also stamped with patten and registration number to the back. This is a reclaimed piece and has surface crazing and wear. A lovely period tile perfect to use within a splashback for a small basin. It can be used in a modern interior for staging or a  coaster.     
Condition
Surface crazing. An original reclaimed tiles and have nibbles to some corners and signs of a sand mortar to the back as they have been used. Some small chip to the surface of tile please refer to photo. Some marks and scratches as they are old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Several nibbles to corners of tiles. Great decorative items which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
