A fantastic antique gilt mirror. Made from gesso plaster and painted in a wonderful muted gold colour. Dating from the 19th Century, with fern leaf detail which was the height of fashion in the Victorian period. It has the most stunning cherub or putti to the top. The mirror is  a lovely small size with useful shelf. A rare and unique period mirror with lots of character and perfect to add a burst of personality to the most modern of homes.
Condition
Losses to the gilt gesso. Plate has most likely been replaced. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
