A lovely antique set of carpet clips. Made from cast iron with a black coppered paint. They have a wonderful paw design and very much in the Art Deco style. Dating from the first part of the 20th Century. Each has a moving mechanism to rotate the clip left or right. It locks in the centre position. They have a super timeworn patina which adds to there charm. There are 22 clips in the set, where four have a slightly different pattern (perhaps used at the top and bottom of the stairs?). A fabulous period set perfect to use and enjoy.
 
Condition
There are 4 which have a slightly different design but are the same size. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
