A fantastic antique plan chest or cabinet. Made from oak thi was was once used by a artist as there are signs of paint. This unusal chest splits into two and have wonderful decorative campaign style handles (one set is different). Dating from the end of the 19th Century with fabulous dovetail joints this has been made by a master craftsmen. Due to its handles and construction it could be a military campaign piece which was used out in the field.

There is a single self to the cabinet base. A rare and interesring piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.

Staining to wood. One set of handles is different. A salavaged item which has worked hard inits life. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.

115 cm width,57 cm depth, 56 cm base cabinet height, 40 cm top plan chest height
