A great antique wall cabinet. Made from mahogany and has two small doors to the front and two shelves above. To the inside is the makers label for, Flashman & Co. Ltd. Based in Dover and Folkstone, the business was founded by George Flashman in 1830. When were known as 'Flashman's of Dover' and held a Royal Warrant. They were renowned for producing quality cabinet and furniture. This example dates from the Victorian period. With carved upstand and reeded detail to the shelf and bottom plinth edge. A stunning useful piece, perfect in a modern bathroom or kitchen to add soul and character to any modern interior.
Condition
There are holes to the upstand for wall mounting but it can be free standing as show. Area of missing trim to bottom shelf edge. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
