A fantastic vintage haberdashery shop counter. Beech cabinet with bank of 16 drawers with lovely cup pull handles. This cabinet was originally used as a shop counter for The Scouts shop in St. Albans. It was sourced from another shop locally and dates from the early to middle of the 20th Century. With a stunning reeded design to the leg. Drawers open easily making this a very usable piece for storage or as a kitchen island. Perfect to incoporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Missing part to lower front of one of the drawers. Signs of old labels which we have removed but some glue still can be seen. The cabinet looks to have several replacment drawers at some point. Tarnishing to metal handles and scratches to glass. Some signs of white paint. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.
