Here for sale is a fantastic antique military metal hat box. With makers mark for Jones & Co, Army Clothiers 6 Regent St, Pall Mall, London. John Jones set up his tailor's shop in 1825 and was active until the early part of the 20th Century. This lovely hat box most probably dates from the late 19th or early 20th Century. The box shows lots of signs of its history and travels, but all adds to its charm. Great for storage! A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern home, to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
The catch is broken. Lots of sign of its age and  use. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
