A fantastic antique floor mirror. All hand turned and made from English oak. The mirror and shelf are in the shape of a horseshoe. Horsehoes have been associated with good fortune for many centuries. This gentlemen's shaving mirror or ladies vanity is a rare piece. On turned tripod legs and useful shelf. The craftmenship of the turned wood is just fabulous. Underneath the mirror there are two adjustable arms which were probably used for candles, these are now missing. Perfect to add soul and character to any modern space.
Condition
There are two arms under the mirror which may have been for holding candles have losses. Its a bit unsteady and wobbly when standing. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
