Here for sale is a fantastic and exceptional quality ladies dressing box. No makers mark, but based on the quality this must be from a fine maker. The outside is veneered in the most stunning Coromandel. The brass lock is stamped with VR and the crown. The top tray lifts out and has a lovely velvet lining. Releasing the mirror reveals a writing area. Pushing a button at the back releases the lower drawer. The lower drawer has a round fitting for a pocket watch.
The contents are a mixture. With a scissor and nail set with 1905 silver hallmarked handles by Crisford and Norris Ltd and Sheffield blades. Along with crystal containers some of which have silver tops. A stunning ladies travel case perfect for display and to use and enjoy. Adding soul and character to any modern interior.  
Condition
The veneer is cracked in places with age. General wear. We are not clear how the mirror is supposed to be released other than with a flat object. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
