A fantastic antique tray. Made from silver plate with stunning repousse design to the surface. It has a stunning crimped and scrolled edge. Dating from the turn of the 20th Century and stamped with the hallmark O/D for the maker WMF, or Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. The company was founded in 1880 by the merging of two Wurtemberg foundries. Foundries were purchased in Warsaw and Vienna. This stunning tray has a wonderful colour and design. A fabulous period piece, perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.
Condition
Surface tarnishing in places due to age. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
