A fantastic antique military hat box. With makers label for Griffiths McAlister & Crook Ltd of Liverpool and London. The outer case is Japanned metal with fabulous copper interior. Marked with owners name J.W. Rowell RASC (Royal Army Service Corps). Dating from the early part of the 20th Century circa 1900 to 1920. A fantastic decorative piece, perfect for any collector or to stage in a home to add character.
Condition
Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.
