A lovely vintage brooch. Made from steriling silver and fully signed by the maker. David Andersen, Norway. Anderson (1843-1901) was a renowned goldsmith in Norway. Many of his pieces were exported to the UK. This piece is much later and dates from the middle of the 20th Century. With a vibrant blue enamel leaf with veins design. A really stylish piece. A fabulous period brooch, perfect as a gift or to wear and enjoy.
Condition
Small area of missing enamel to tip of leaf. Pin to back is a little bent. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would elevate any outfit.
