A lovely vintage hand thrown pot. Marked by the maker, 'Skyeramics'. Based on the Isle of Skye and founded by the artist Morris Manson in 1972. After art cottage, Manson was a trainee potter for would famous 'Wold' pottery, in Yorkshire. This example dates from the late 1970s. It has a vibrant blue glaze and aztec banding gives the piece charm. A great sized pot that is perfect as a planter or as a utensil holder. Perfect to incorporate into a modern interior to add soul and character to a space.

No chips. Small firing crack to the base. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. Great decorative item which would look fantastic in any home or business interior.

Please look at photos closely as they form part of the item description.

17 cm diameter, 20 cm height
